A small browser extension that brings Atona to every tab — summarize what you're reading, draft a reply in any compose box. Pair once with your Atona account; nothing happens on a page until you ask it to.
Available for Chrome, Edge, and Brave on desktop. Currently in private beta.
The Companion lives in your browser's toolbar. Click it, and Atona's sidebar slides in alongside the page you're on. Two actions ship today; more land over time.
Click on any article, blog post, PDF, or long thread. Atona reads the visible page once — only when you click — and renders a tight summary plus the key points. The page never leaves your browser unless you've invoked the action.
Click into any compose box — a Gmail reply, an Outlook draft, a GitHub PR comment, a forum post — open the sidebar, and tell Atona what to say (or just let it draft from the visible thread). Review, edit, and click Insert. Atona never sends; you do.
The Companion is rolling out to private beta first. If you're an Atona user, you can install it through the link below; pairing takes about ten seconds.
Chrome Web Store listing: coming soon. Atona is in private beta — early users can pair the Companion through their dashboard at app.atona.ai.
When the public listing is live, this page will redirect there directly. The same install URL keeps working.
The Companion uses the same privacy posture as the rest of Atona — read the full extension section at atona.ai/privacy. The short version:
No background monitoring, no auto-load. Page content reaches Atona only at the moment you invoke an action.
Atona never receives or stores passwords, payment info, or auth tokens for any site you visit.
Banking, tax, medical, legal — the same on-device classifier that protects your inbox protects what the extension sees.
Un-pair from the sidebar Settings panel; the bearer token is revoked on Atona's backend immediately.
Free during private beta. The Companion ships with every account.
