Before you hire
What does early access mean?
Guest-reply drafts on Airbnb and VRBO work today, each approved by you. Alterations are in early access; Booking.com and cleaner coordination are planned. Request access, mention the Short Stay Manager, and the Atona team sets it up with you once you’re approved.
Does it work on Booking.com?
Not yet. Airbnb and VRBO today; Booking.com is planned.
Does it ever message a guest without my approval?
No. Every reply waits for you.
What does it do when it doesn’t know the answer?
It asks you. The draft shows the missing fact instead of a guess, and your answer is saved to the property for next time.
Which inbox does it read?
The one you connect for hosting, where your booking messages arrive. It reads that inbox in full because guest mail is the job, and the sensitive-mail check that protects a personal inbox doesn’t apply there. Connect a hosting inbox, not your personal one.
Can I keep my existing PMS?
Yes. It doesn’t replace your channel manager or the tool that sets your nightly rates. It works on the guest messages.
How do I get access?
Request access from this page. You create an account, then enter an invitation code if you have one, or tell us what you need, mentioning the Short Stay Manager. The Atona team reviews every request and replies by email.
What happens once I’m in?
The Atona team sets up your Short Stay Manager with you: the accounts it works in, and the notes and rules it works from.
